Hello friends! So, on Tuesday I had what was supposed to be a small procedure on my eyes done. It’s called Crosslinking and it’s supposed to stop the errosion and deformation of my corneas or something like that.
Why am I telling you this?
Well, because here it is Friday and I’m just now starting to be able to see again. Initially, it was supposed to be done and healed by Wednesday, but it turns out my eyes didn’t take to kindly to this procedure and I’ve been under a blanket in the dark recesses of my house like Gollum, unable to see or spend much time in the light.
Thankfully, things are starting to get better now and I can at least make out the shapes of words and letters and not be reduced to tears by my own computer screen. So, needless to say it was a little difficult to get things together and regular pages will resume on Tuesday.
Not wanting to leave you completely empty handed though, I pulled another sketch from SDCCs-Past and Ed and Dave were kind enough to put it together as a page while I sobbed in the corner.
I’m sure you’re all familliar with Axe Cop, Ethan Nicolle and his then-5-year-old brother Malachai’s international sensation. Ethan is a great guy, really fun to talk to and he was nice enough to doodle up their titual character (Surfing on a dolphin no less!) for us at an SDCC a couple of years ago.
So with all that said, I do apologize for the lack of page today. I hope you all have a great weekend and we’ll see you here bright (but hopefully not too bright) and early Tuesday!
