They say that a million monkeys at a million typewriters will eventually write MacBeth. I don’t know what that phrase has to do with today’s page, but for some reason it springs to mind.
I kinda wish that I had gotten to accompany our beloved scribe on his adventures around New York. Not only do I love the city, but seeing how the leading name in digital comics does its thing would be very interesting.
In truth though, I would probably spend most of the trip in the sewers attempting to locate a nest of turtles. Hopefully of the Teenage Mutant variety, but I’d settle for just plain old fashioned ninjas.
Today’s page comes to us via the one and only Josh Adams:
When asked what he wanted to do when he grew up, french fry chef at McDonald’s, was his only answer, however New York born artist, Josh Adams has set his sights even higher in his burgeoning career and rightfully should, being in the shadow of his father, living legend, Neal Adams. Trained by many of the industry’s top talent, Adams has taken his illustration skills and racked up credits on titles such as Doctor Who (IDW Publishing), House of Mystery (DC Entertainment), Neal Adams’ Batman Odyssey (DC Entertainment), Blood (DarkHorse) as well as the Astonishing X-Men Motion Comic (Marvel) and countless hit projects for the Syfy Channel including Battlestar Galactica, Stargate SG-1, Being Human, Eureka, Ghost Hunters and work for MTV and the WWE. Adams is currently working on Batman (DC Entertainment) and Blood (DarkHorse) as well as the creator owned projects STRAIN, Culture Shock!, and In the Garden of Steven: the tale of Adam, Eve & Steve. Josh Adams can also be found writing his column What Would Josh Do? for Rich Johnston’s BleedingCool.com. Josh still one day aspires to learn the secret art of cooking french fries the Mickey D’s way.
Have a great weekend, my friends! See you back here Monday!
