Hey, that’s true. No one ever asks us to be on panels. But I’ve been invited to multiple Furry Conventions. I wonder why that is. We’re always around…
At any rate, diversity in comics is always a big issue and while I think Paul’s assertation might be a touch on the over-dramatic side, I hope that it gets the results he’s aiming for. At the very least, the idea of new blood speaking on panels is always a good one.
Panels are one of the best parts of any comic convention or gathering. It’s often the case that there are so many interesting panels and cool speakers at shows, that scheduling yourself to catch them all is an almost impossible task. Participating in them is always fun too…
Which should serve as a reminder that we, The Gutters Crew, are always available for Panels.
It doesn’t even have to be about comics. Or at a con. We’ll totally come to your house.*
Wait, they have snacks and beer at panels right? …Right?
Today’s page was brought to us by the lovely and talented Cat Farris:
Cat Farris is a cartoonist living in Portland, Or. A member of Periscope Studio, she has learned everything she knows about comics from her crazy studiomates! Cat has also studied Animation at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, GA, where she had the pleasure of studying under great industry folks like Nancy Beiman, Larry Lauria, and Jeremy Moorshead.
Have a great start to the week, folks! See you Wednesday!
*Don’t worry, we totally won’t.
