Groovy
Let the record show that I happen to be a huge Evil Dead/Army of Darkness/Bruce Campbell/Ash fan. It's always been one of those franchises that have stuck with me as I've grown older, and with the recent Evil Dead: Musical showing up on my iPhone playlist, I've become interested all over again.
That said, I think Dynamite has gone a little Ash crazy of late with crossovers, having the one handed man showing up in countless titles. With the recent news that Ash and Danger Girl were teaming up, I figured it was only a matter of time before Ash found his way to Nickolodeon, helping Dora, Boots, Swiper and Backpack overcome the Army of Darkness.
When this happens, I'll be shown to be a true prophet.
Today's page was done by one of my favorite guys in the business, Ryan Lee:
Ryan Lee is a freelance illustrator/designer diligently working out of his home studio surrounded by foxes and spiders in Northwestern Michigan. Since his graduation from the College for Creative Studies in 1999, he has been steadily working in various creative mediums including (but not limited to) illustration, advertising, graphic design, character design, fine art painting, and storyboards. Most recently, Ryan has refocused his work efforts on the comic book industry, a passion of his since he first picked up a pen as a child.
We'll see you on Wednesday, folks.
