The collected nerdom let out an anquished sigh upon hearing the news that Jon Favreau would not be helming the next installment of the Iron Man film franchise.
As a people (the aforementioned nerdom), we tend to not like it when the boat is rocked. We had something good in Favreau and with his departure (I doubt we’ll ever know the real reason, though I’m skeptical of the amicable parting of ways), the series is left at a loss.
Now, we sit back and wait, sharpening our pitchforks until Marvel announces the next director.

He’s currently working on his creator owned miniseries, The Thunderchickens with writer and co-creator Chad Boudreau.
