As someone who lives in a city that has banned the nefarious Right Turn On Red, let me tell you that this would be the most vile, evil and horrible thing that Thanos could inflict on the Marvel Universe.
Seriously though, with Infinity issue #5 (of 6) on the shelves this week it makes sense that Marvel would want to preview the end of the series. I mean, I’m sure that there are a lot of people out there who’ve already bought 4 issues worth of it but are thinking “hmmmm… I’m just not sold yet.”
Conversely, I’m sure there are more than a few people out there thinking “Hey, I’ve heard about Infinity... but haven’t read any of it… I wonder if I should start with the last issue? Damn, if only there was some way to preview the ending of series I’ve otherwise ignored up to this point…”
Of course, all this is balanced out by the fact they’ve pretty much already spoiled the end of Infinity in order to start the hype cycle for Inhumanity and All New Marvel Now Point One.1.INH.NOW.Burns.When.I.Pee.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, the light has changed and I have a well-earned right turn to make.
