The kind folks over at APE Entertainment have been making waves of late, specifically with comics based on mobile gaming properties. Their digital comic "Pocket God" surpassed 500,000 downloads over 10 issues. That's quite a respectable number.

A number, I might add, that others will hope to mimic or surpass in the months ahead. I expect we'll be hearing a slew of announcements in the new year with all the top ten iOs games in the app store being licensed for comics.

And in the interest of full disclosure, I would totally read a Plants Vs. Zombies book.
