I can admit, I’ve been a little busy lately so I missed this article when it first hit the net last week.
So, just so I’m clear on this, someone was so upset by the portrayal of Starfire in Red Hood and The Outlaws, they showed the book that is clearly rated “T” to their 7 year old daughter to see what they thought?
Hm. I don’t have kids, so I can admit maybe I’m missing some nuanced aspect of this, but that makes about as much sense to me as the time that I showed my 5 year old nephew “Crossed” just to make sure it was offensive enough to upset him.
Also, I don’t have a nephew.
But you get my point.
Today’s not so nuanced page came to us all the way from New Zealand via Michel Mulipoa
