A Great Disturbance
Poking fun at O’Malley’s Scott Pilgrim is akin to committing sacrilege, according to some. I’m unsurprisingly okay with that.
Though, seeing as I’m actually a fan of O’Malley’s work, I find myself rather looking forward to his upcoming project (announced on twitter), “Seconds”.
Todays it’s-not-manga-at-all page was done by Cat Farris:
Cat Farris is an animator and illustrator working at Periscope Studio in Portland, OR, and is actually rather fond of Bryan Lee O'Malley. She studied Animation at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, GA, where she had the pleasure of learning from great industry folks like Nancy Beiman, Larry Lauria, and Jeremy Moorshead. She is the creator of Flaccid Badger Wants An Apple, and Flaccid Badger Ninja Assassin.
Have a great weekend, folks, and we’ll see you back here on Monday with another preview of DC’s latest re-launch plans (yes, they are the comedic gift that just keeps on giving).
