Vote Myself Off
Before I get into today’s page, I wanted to offer a reminder that Lar, Rich and myself will be attending this weekend’s Emerald City Comicon in Seattle. You’ll find us at Booth #104 under Blind Ferret for the entire weekend.
Among everything else we’ll be doing there, it should be specifically noted that we will be looking at portfolios for artists. More than a handful of artists you’ve seen do Gutters pages were because of conventions. We are always actively seeking both new and established talent.
I’ll remind you folks again about ECCC later on this week, but now, to move on to Spider Island.
It wouldn’t be a day of the week if Marvel weren’t planning a big event or six, and who needs a big event more than your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man? That was sarcasm there, I hope you caught it.
What Spider Island will eventually become is unclear to us at the moment, but there is one thing we can all be 100% sure of, is that no mater how much time passes, there will always be a place for Survivor parodies.
Today’s Tribal Council including page was done by Nick Bradshaw:
Nick Bradshaw is a Multimedia artist. he’s worked in Animation, Gaming and comics, Most of his career focused in the latter. He’s worked for most of the major publishers including DC/Wildstorm (Danger Girl, Rokkin), Marvel (X-men), Image and Dynamic forces. He currently lives and works out of his hometown, Moncton NB.
We’ll see you on Wednesday, folks. Do try and kick the shite out of the week.
